Gli antichi, a quanto pare, non amavano eccessivamente gli aggettivi. Soprattutto per definire i loro simili.
The ancients, apparently, didn’t love the adjectives very much. Mostly to define their similar.
Anche quando si trattava di uomini “che hanno fatto la storia” – diremmo noi – tra quei pochi, il titolo di “Grande” se lo meritavano tardivamente quando erano già scomparsi dalla scena. Quando la storia l’avevano già fatta, e il pericolo di rovinarsi la fama era scomparso.
Even when was about men “which made history” – as we will say – among those few, the appellation of “Great” was deserved only late when they had passed away. When they already made history and the danger of ruining the reputation was gone.
“Grande” per noi promotori Samurai (GSB) e Daniele Lazzarini è l’idea, la libera partecipazione, la volontà di confrontarsi uomo contro uomo, non federazione contro un’altra.
Vi aspettiamo a Brescia, presso il Centro Sportivo San Filippo, dal 17 al 19 dicembre 2010.

“Great” for us promoters, Samurai (GSB) and Daniele Lazzarini, is the idea, the free participation, the will to confront man against man, not federation against federation.
